Quality

Quality, sourcing and documentation

What buyers should be able to verify before they order, and how we check each lot of dried blue lotus flower.

🌿

Species identification

Each lot is identified as Nymphaea caerulea. Identity is checked by inspecting petal color, shape and golden stamens, and lab identity testing can be requested.

🔍

Certificate of analysis

Batch testing on request: identity, moisture, microbial counts, heavy metals and pesticide residues.

🌎

Documented origin

Country of origin and harvest information stated on each quote and lot document.

📦

Careful packing

Packed in sealed food-grade poly bags to limit breakage and moisture pickup.

🚚

Import compliance

Commercial invoice and packing list with every shipment, and phytosanitary paperwork where required.

📝

Spec sheets

Downloadable product specification and documentation for buyers.

Our process

How each lot is checked

1

Visual inspection

Color, stamens and overall condition checked against a reference.

2

Dryness check

Dry and brittle, no damp or musty smell. Moisture target below about 12%.

3

Foreign matter

Screened for mold, stems, stones and other debris before packing.

4

Pack and label

Sealed in food-grade bags and labeled with the botanical name and lot.
